This condo is starting to show its age, but the location and space trump everything. The view is wonderful. Being able to slip through the hedge to Vidanta is a big plus for kids and adults - then you can slip back into this peaceful, comfortable and spacious unit. We enjoyed every minute here.

The condo was clean. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Nadia, the house keeper was so nice and definitely a perk of the condo. Nelly was great with communication.

Words cannot describe the exceptional experience we had during our week long stay. The location of this condo along with the amenities offered by the resort, made the trip extremely enjoyable and far exceeded our expectations.

Our group really enjoyed staying at this condo building in Nuevo Vallarta for many reasons including: beautiful and large private pool, close and convenient access to the beach, not overly crowded and we never had a problem finding pool chairs for our group, onsite snack and beverage bar was perfect for lite meals/snacks and reasonably priced cocktails and beers. We could also bring our own food and drink to the pool with no problem at all. The bracelets to the Vidanta property were a plus too. That said, Vidanta property was much busier and finding spots by the pools was challenging if you didn't get there early in the morning to save spots. The kids (12-14 yrs old) did enjoy the lazy river and water slide at Vidanta. The condo was only a 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants off site at the marina and we went out most nights and enjoyed Eddie's, Barracuda, Organi-K, and Mediterraneo. Nelly was very responsive and fantastic to work with. We will be back and would work with Nelly again. Thank you.

Great Property - Great Location - Great Host - Good Rental Choice

This is probably the cleanest property we’ve ever rented. Also one of the most scenic. The balcony was lovely- great sunset views. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of seating in the living area. Two of the bedrooms are very spacious, the third is nice for a couple, and the fourth is smaller with no window, a great kids room maybe? We appreciated that all of the rooms had a private bathroom- a real luxury. Nelly, the property manager, was always quick to respond to my emails or text questions. When there was a mix-up getting our bracelets at Vidanta, she spoke by phone with the concierge there, as well as with me to resolve the issue. (Note: bring ID and a small extra fee to pick up the Vidanta bracelets. Definitely worthwhile). The staff who work at Mayan Island clearly have guest safety in mind. There is a gate to enter the grounds and an attendant at the building entrance, who kindly called taxis for our excursions. That said, we walked all over the neighborhood, to restaurants, the nearby farmers market, and convenience stores and we felt as safe as we do in any city/ town. We booked the airport transfer through Nelly, with 6 adults and golf and scuba gear, a pre-arranged van was a real help. The condo pool area was relaxing and we never had a problem getting chairs or umbrellas, appreciated the snack/bar too. We would happily stay here again! An all-around great experience!

The property was very clean, and the description and photos were accurate. There were 8 of us - 6 adults, a 4 year old and a 1 year old and at no point did we feel like we were in a crowded space. Having our own bathrooms was great. The rooms are spacious and far enough apart that no one else heard a crying baby at night! The pools were quiet and clean. The staff all around the property are so friendly and helpful and it felt very safe. Thank you for the wonderful week!

Beautiful place next to a fabulous resort. The pictures are mostly accurate. The only downside is that the pictures don’t reveal the “inadequacy” of the 4th bedroom (as compared to the others). We had 4 adult couples and 1 couple felt a little “shorted” having to stay in the 4th bedroom which is MUCH smaller with no view or even any windows. The shower doors in that room were also broken and the couple bought a shower curtain so that they didn’t shower the entire bathroom as they were trying to bathe. Aside from this, everything was as pictured and overall very nice.

Our stay at Mayan Island Edzna Tower was absolutely fantastic. Nelly's packet of information was very accurate. Nelly was always prompt with her responses whenever we reached out. We made arrangements with her drivers to/from the airport and it was seamless. We took advantage of having a meal prepared for us by Nora, someone Nelly recommended. It was a delicious meal! Best shrimp and guac ever! I would just add make sure that Nora knows which property you are at. The staff at Mayan Islands is very friendly and accommodating. We felt very safe during our stay on the property. The neighborhood we were in felt safe as well. Everyone had an enjoyable time while we were there! If we go back to Mexico, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything, Nelly!

This property is amazing! Our unit was just right for all of us. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable . Lovely closet space and bathrooms! We were 6 adults a 3 year old and an 8 year old. The pools were so lovely and we spent a great time there. We would pick a couple of tables and all of a sudden we were set up with umbrellas and beach towels! There is a poolside bar and sandwich / snack shop which pleased everyone!! We did get passes for the resort next door. They had a lot of fun things to do. As the Grandmother of the group I loved the quiet by the pool! I hadn’t been that relaxed in so long and it was great! I also liked the beach and floating on the waves. And, of course, playing in the sand with everyone! All in all a wonderful vacation for me and my family! 💜

The Department is very well located, the beach is beautiful and very quiet, it has a lot of sand space so children can play soccer or volleyball without problem. It's next to Vidanta, so the memberships they offer are worth it. The complex is very quiet, family friendly, SUPER CLEAN, the pool is SPECTACULAR. The aquachile they sell in the Restaurant downstairs is delicious!!! As for the apartment, they always have it super clean. It is very spacious and very nice decorated!! I recommend it 1000000% and I would stay millions of times again!!!! Nelly gave me great service!

The condo is spacious, very comfortable and clean. A very nice feature is having a person come in on an almost daily basis to clean and do wash; very nice amenity. The air conditioning worked great and we were comfortable in every room. Also, having easy access (by paying a fee) to the resort next door is a great amenity. We enjoyed our stay and would do so again in the future.

Nice quiet location with direct access to beach, pools and resort next door for access to family pools and fun for all. Within walking distance of many good restaurants and with access to the dining options of the resort next door you will have many choices.

The condo itself was very clean on our arrival. Nadia the cleaner is very good and showed up every day. Nelly is very attentive to our needs from the very beginning. The resort next door that we had access to was wonderful but very busy during spring break. I would tell you this overall would be a great place if you are looking.

The photos are very accurate to the condo. The area is safe, and stores/restaurants are within walking distance. Kent was very quick on getting back to us when we did have a question. We tipped the cleaning service daily and extra when she cleaned the kitchen/washed laundry. It was great having this service. We went as seven adults and three children: great layout and space, lots of room. The condo property was great, close to getting back to the room when you need to, beautiful pool and beach. The security is rigorous. If you were not a guest at the condo, they were not allowed to walk along the pool. The poolside restaurant/bar is very reasonable in price (not worth hauling our stuff down)—food/drinks. Things to know: - There are pool/sand toys available in the condo to take down to the beach. - There is a cooler to use. - Housekeeping is wonderful. We packed light and had our laundry done three times. - Restaurant's within walking distance are all very good and reasonable priced. - We got the resort pass for next door. For $20 a person, it was a change-up in the pool days. Kids would be back and forth throughout the day. Food and drinks were very pricy at the resort, and they only took credit cards. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

A condo with an excellent location and service. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. Access to Vidanta is a great plus if you're traveling with children. The pool staff is INCREDIBLE, attentive and very helpful, as is the front desk staff.

This place is amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway! We enjoyed our stay so much we've already shared the rental information with several of our friends. The condo is in safe location and next door to the Vidanta Grand Mayan Resort. The condo was the perfect size for our party of 9 (6 adults and 3 children). The condo was very clean and we loved the fully stocked kitchen. Nelly is an amazing host; she answered every question we could possibly think of before we arrived and even checked in with us once we arrived to ensure everything was as we expected. Nelly helped us arrange airport transportation and made sure the front desk knew when we were coming; check in took less than 5 minutes! Nadia is a fantastic housekeeper and we even talked her into making us lunch one day. There are great restaurants next door at the Vidanta but we’d suggest you adventure off property. Nelly gave us a list of restaurants within in walking distance and they did not disappoint. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and we’re already looking at our calendar so we can go back!

This is a very clean condo with great space for a family vacation. I love the fact that every room has a bathroom. We have stayed at many condos and most do not have enough couch space for everyone to sit comfortably. But this condo delivers. Plenty of space with these couches and they are very comfortable The view from this property is spectacular and the pools are great and the beach is even better. Such a huge beach with barely anyone trying to sell you anything The big bummer at the pool was the pool worker who was absolutely ridiculous. He dampened our experience at the pool. Every time we went down he would beline for us and tell us we couldn’t sit where we were because that table or chair was assigned to someone else. Literally every single time he did this. If there was a ton of people we could totally understand, but there was literally no one there. A ton of reviewers recommended getting the next door hotel vidante bracelet to access their facilities. We did this but it was a disappointment. We enjoyed the lazy river and went to a restaurant that was very overpriced and not very good. So we did not go back. Maybe other restaurants were better but we did not give them a chance. We may have except it was such a hastle getting In and out so it just wasn’t worth it. We were supposed to call someone to open the gate for us which no one would ever answer so we had to yell to workers to open the door for us. Too mush of a pain This property is about 15 minutes off the main highway so something to consider. Nadia the cleaner came everyday and did a great job. She does not speak English so that would be the only downside Nelly, the property manager was great and always answered my texts promptly I’m not sure why I thought this but I did think there was a gym. It was a disappointment to find out there wasn’t but that was probably my fault. But if any of you reading this like gyms then know that this condo does not have that Overall a clean, comfortable condo

This condo is excellent. Very large and suitable for large groups. The cleanliness is impeccable, the staff very courteous and friendly. Nelly is very efficient and her courtesy and kindness are excellent. We had a relaxing time even during this period. Every morning just to watch the sunrise on the private beach it was very calming. We recommend this place and acquire the Vindata membership a resort next door which is just exceptional.

Overall very impressed with accomodations and ambiance Unfortunately 9 of our 11 people could not arrive due to travel restrictions but Nelly was very co operative in getting us rebates We did not learn there were tennis courts in complex until day we left, Finding property was difficult and directionssuch as go left off main highway down Nayarit Blvd; over bridge and trun left at OXXO would to help you find the place by car

My husband and I, 2 adult brothers (all in our 50’s) and senior mother stayed 2 weeks in this beautiful condo right on the beach in Nuevo Vallarta. It’s every bit as beautiful as the photos. The bedrooms are far enough apart from each other and each has it’s own adjoining bath and walkin closet that everyone had lots of privacy and space. We prearranged with Nelly to use Mel’s airport transfer service to and from the airport giving us one less thing to have to worry about as he knew exactly where we were going even though we didn’t. We also took advantage of the access to the Grand Mayan next door for a nominal fee. If travelling with kids I would definitely recommend as they have several great pools, a lazy river and great splash pads for the kids. We did eat at the beachside restaurant a few times for lunch and the food was very good so at the end of the day for the price it was nice to have the option to go next door to one of the restaurants or use any of their facilities. The condo has everything that you will need. The kitchen is very well stocked and there wasn’t anything that we felt was missing. We ate breakfast in the condo every day and most days one of us ran up (elevator) to throw together a lunch for the group which we enjoyed poolside. We prepared dinner in the condo every 2nd evening and ventured out the other nights. There’s at least a half dozen restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk at the marina that are reasonably priced or we jumped into a cab and ventured a little further to try some of the other recommended restaurants in the area. People were so friendly and more than happy to make recommendations. We found the condo and grounds to be very quiet as well as immaculate. Most days there were only a handful of people at the pools so never a problem getting a lounge chair or umbrella. The security is also very tight. If anybody ventures onto the property from the beach the security is quick to make sure that they belong and if they don’t they are sent on their way. We started and ended every day on the large balcony looking out at the ocean. Even saw a whale in the bay one evening! Nadia, the housekeeper came everyday except Sundays and she kept the condo meticulous. She is such a nice lady. This is a fantastic condo and a great location and property and anybody who books it will not be disappointed. Nelly is great to work with and quick to respond. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

Great condo on the beach for families. It was great to have four separate rooms with washrooms and a nice common area. Awesome beach just out front for kids and lots of nearby restaurants. Hope to come back soon.

We just returned from our second stay at the fabulous Mayan Island luxury condominiums located immediately out the north turnstile gate of the Vidanta/Grand Mayan complex. Everything was just as expected from the photos and video tour online. This was the first time renting the 4 bdrm unit, but it worked out perfectly for our group. There are 4 rooms with ensuite bathrooms: one master ocean view room, one extra ocean view room with access to the balcony, one beautiful room with views to mountains, and one nice interior room with a smaller bathroom/shower. The condo is spacious and well appointed, and each zone has its own AC control, but much of the time we turned it off and let the ocean breezes flow through. Stunning ocean views off your private deck w/whirlpool tub. There is wifi, tv (a control guide would be helpful), books to read, pool and sand toys for the kids, and even a stroller and highchair (inquire with Nelly about their availability). Kitchen is well appointed, but has no oven. There is a toaster oven, microwave and stove, so it was fine for our needs. We activated the membership to use the Vidanta property next door, which is a great deal! So many restaurants, pools, and shops right next door. The pools at the condo complex are wonderful too! So clean and uncrowded, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. At the Mayan Island, the security is very high, so you always feel safe. They now require their own wristband for guests, so if you use the Vidanta membership too, you will be wearing two wristbands (pick up Vidanta band at the Grand Bliss hotel lobby for a couple dollars per band, in cash, separate from the activation fee). Check out the website to see the many amenities you will enjoy using: nightlife at Santuario, restaurants to suit each palate, Spa, gym, lazy river, etc. Just a short walk down the street, there is OXXO store w/taco bar (like a 7-11) where you can purchase small things to get you started in your condo (milk, cheese, tortillas, cereal, snacks, drinks). Or, take a 10 min cab ride to a Walmart or Mega or other large grocery store. Nelly has a driver service (Mel) and for a nominal extra charge he included a 30 min stop at the grocery store on our way to the condo to stock up on groceries. Taxis readily available (180 pesos to go to airport), and also a local bus which stops near the OXXO. Nelly was quick to be of help always! Nadia is sweet but a translator app helped me. FABULOUS TRIP once again!

Beautiful property, with easy access to the Vidanta property next door. Spacious master and other two bedrooms. Fourth bedroom is a little smaller. The private pool out front for the Edzna Tower is very nice. Fun watching the guard/pool man Felix chase away those who wander in from the beach looking to access Vidanta. The front desk people were very helpful on check in and check out. Much simpler than checking in at Vidanta. Minutes at Edzna vs hours..... ;) Nelly was very helpful in resolving any issue. The information package sent before arrival is very detailed and helpful. Our guests ,add full use of the access and reduced fees at both the Norman and Nayar courses. Renters can book golf at Norman for $75 USD or at Nayar for $40. Nelly can assist in the golf bookings, but do this soon to get good tee times.

Everything about this lovely property was exactly as represented in the photographs and prior guest reviews. We were a group of 9 - mum, dad and 7 adult children/partners. The condo is spacious and well laid out and well stocked. Property staff are incredibly friendly. The resort property itself, Mayan Island Condominiums is quiet and in close proximity to the busy Grand Mayan resort. Spend the extra $$ to get the bracelets for your group as the work out facilities and numerous pools are superb. The little pool bar at our condo complex was good value, however it's easy to bring food and drink down to the pool/beach area. One caution on transportation - many cab and Uber drivers coming from PV don't know where the Mayan Island Condominium property is, even when provided with the exact address. Some of our group were taken to the Grand Mayan upon arrival. Once you're in Nuevo Vallarta you will have no problems as there is a taxi stand just down the road and/or staff will call you a cab to the door step. This complex is on the side of NV closest to PV. There are a few restaurants in the neighborhood and on the 'north' side of the marina that I would categorize as just OK; if you're a foodie do some research and have a plan to get into Vallarta or Bucerias during your stay. After putting up some initial resistance to Fajita Republic, our group finally went. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed it! We would like to thank Nadia the house keeper for her help and sweet disposition. Nelly the property manager is very helpful and responds immediately to requests. Do not hesitate to book this lovely, secure and hassle free condo for your next vacation.

The condo is in a great safe location next to The Grand Mayan. We were able to purchase wrist bands to access the Vidanta Resort for a very reasonable price because the owners of the condo have a membership. It has great views from the bedrooms and patio. The unit is very clean and had everything we needed. The service was excellent. Nelly was great to deal with! She always got back to us in timely manner. The only small issues we had was both of our keys broke for the condo and we were unable to get them replaced throughout the trip and the jets were not working on the Jacuzzi tub. Overall I would defiantly recommend this unit especially for larger families.

We stayed at this property with 4 adults and 5 children. We waited a long time for this vacation with our 5 grandchildren and it did not disappoint. We were spoiled by Nadia, our housekeeper and she was very attentive to our requests in our limited Spanish. The condos were almost completely empty when we were there so we had the lovely pools in front all to ourselves. From the pool guy, to the gate keeper to the man who sat outside of our building we were very well taken care of. My adult kids were concerned about Mexico and p taking their 5 kids out of the country for the first time. He commented over and over how safe he felt. I was concerned about the kids being able to play in the ocean. Snorkeling was more limited unless you went out on a boat and we did. They boogie boarded constantly and body surfed. A great perk was the access to the property next door. The pools, the music, the lazy river, the slides were enjoyed by all We are now just trying to figure out how and when we can go back.

My family loves this place. We stayed here last year and will make the trip again next year. Its beautiful, secure, private location. Its a quiet, nice relaxing location, but you can go next door to the resort and use their amenities - pools with swim up bars, party events, water park, etc.

Great experience staying at this Condo, as the pictures are shown they bedrooms and distribution of it was great for our family . We really enjoyed staying in it, the daily housekeeping with Nadia’s in charge was excellent, the pool area of the condo was really neat and the beach area as well. Vidanta’s access is just steps away, we really enjoyed visiting it and having access to the Rio Lento and the pools. Thanks very much for all, we really had a great family summer vacation staying at Nuevo vallarta.

Had a great experience for our family. The condo itself is well represented in the pictures. The staff was super friendly on the property. Location was perfect. On the beach, the pools at the condo were nice and not crowded. Definitely recommend paying the $99 fee plus the small amount for the bracelets to access the Grand Mayan next door. That give you access to some great dining and addition pools/lazy river. Also, highly recommend just using Uber to get around, was less than $3USD to get to Nuevo Vallarta and $13USD to get to Puerto Vallarta.

My family and I stayed for three nights and we had an excellent experience. The location of the condo is great, the service was amazing. We will definitely book again!

We truly had a fantastic week staying at this condo! We were traveling as a family of 7 so having our own apartment/condo with our own space was so much better than a bunch of separate rooms at a hotel. And with each room having it's own private bath, we had plenty of privacy. Could be wrong, but it appears that the condos are all individually owned, so it wasn't overcrowded at all. We had the pools as well as our beach area mostly to ourselves if we wanted some quiet. But also with access to the Mayan resort next door, we could go over there anytime for the lazy river or for some pool-side drink service. Only downside was that it was a little confusing for us to find where we needed to get our bracelets for the Mayan as the resort is so big, but we finally did. We also only had one key card to get to the other side as I think a previous guest had lost one. They didn't have another replacement until later in the week, but by then we'd made do and just didn't have time to go hunt it down at the massive resort. We had sweet Nadia the housekeeper, prepare a couple of big Mexican breakfasts for us. She did a fantastic job and I know we would do this again. Overall, it was a great trip and a perfect place to stay for our situation. We would definitely recommend to others!

Family just stayed for spring break. Condo is great! Lots of space, and great views - pictures are all accurate! Condo staff very helpful. Access to Grand Mayan is perfect - a five minute walk to restaurants and water attractions. Cabs readily available in front of condo. Shopping for family of all sorts nearby, as are off-campus restaurants. Airport pickup and drop off went very smoothly. Nelly was fantastic! She answered all of our questions quickly and helped guide us along the way, including assisting in finding us a fishing charter. She was more of a concierge than a property manager. Just incredibly helpful. Only helpful hint would be to take care of wristband situation immediately. Just makes for a smoother trip, as will getting sufficient key cards for access to and from Grand Mayan. Otherwise, enjoy! Recommend this highly.

We had such a lovely time on this trip. The property is beautiful and spacious. Easily accommodated our large family of 9. Walmart is a 5 minute drive so we were able to stock up on groceries for the week. The kitchen was well supplied which made for easy cooking. Nelly was very helpful throughout the trip. There was a slight misunderstanding in getting bands from the Grand Mayan but Nelly quickly helped and made it right. I can’t wait to use this property again in the future.

Our family of four had the best time in Nuevo Vallarta. This condo has the perfect set up. Huge, clean, modern 4 bedroom/4 bath with a beautiful full view of the water and clean quiet pools/beach access. The access to the Grand Mayan is literally next door and paying for the wristbands is what made this a 5 star experience. Given there was no food/drink service at the condo pools or beach we opted to spend most of our time at the resort. It was just like staying there for a fraction of the cost with a much better condo to come home to at night. They have a ton of dining options, waiters at all the pools and beach chairs to bring you whatever you want, lazy river, wave pools and water slide for the kids, fun nighttime events. The resort is huge and overwhelming at first, but once you get the lay of the land it is easy to navigate using their shuttles to get around. We never met Nadia, the house cleaner, but we left her notes and gratuity daily and came home to made beds and fresh towels each evening. She also did laundry a few times for us which was great. Nelly was always available to answer questions via text and the prearranged airport transportation made this a seamless experience. We rarely go back to the same place twice, but this place is just too good to be true. We will definitely be back! Thanks Nelly!

The property is as good as it looks. Size, amenities and livability are superb. Staff was great and we had a wonderful week. Five adults and two children (3 & 8) enjoyed our time "at home"...the unit, the hot tub on the deck, the on site pool and made use of the fabulous facilities and restaurants at Mayan Village and Vidanta which adjoins the property and can be accessed for a very reasonable fee (well worth it!!!)....many family laps on the "lazy river". Final assessment: the children loved it and really want to come back!!! That makes everyone very happy and that is what great getaways are all about. Thank you Nelly!!

We, 9 of us, had a marvelous time in Nuevo Vallarta! From this condo you could witness sunrise and sunset in the most wondrous setting! Definitely like a picture postcard or better. Separate bathrooms were perfect. Lack of working televisions was a bummer, especially in the living room!! This must be fixed. Greatest virtue in this condo is SIZE...perfect for the whole family! Beach and pool accomodations and use of Vidante facilities were superb!!!!!!!!!

The location is a WOW factor ocean front facing loved listening to the waves at night slept like a baby. Comfort + amenities of this unit exceeded our expectations. Quiet area safe and such nice people inside the complex and walking around visiting all the local establishments ( Food & Service A++) The Grand Mayan is a must see right next door is such a bonus. To have access to that area is huge. Great food and pools for everyone of all ages. A big Thank You to the manager NELLY who is one very nice person and professional. Nelly communicated with us on everything. Honest and extremely detailed she really made it so easy for all of us and we all thank her for making the vacation spectacular. "Thanks Nelly" We will be back and will tell our friends and family how much we had.

We have just returned from our stay in Nuevo Vallarta, property ID 4361137. We were a group of 7 adults. The condo property is excellent. The pictures do not begin to reflect how nice the condo is and the amazing views from the balcony. The rooms were very clean when we arrived. We really enjoyed having access to the Grand Mayan where we could enjoy the pool area and lazy river, yet we enjoyed having our own private beach front and pool to have quiet time-we were the only people in the pool! The concierge staff were great. They helped us arrange for taxis which we took to the local Walmart - great for buying groceries (they even brought our groceries to the room). We did reserve the driver to meet us at the airport which Nelly suggested, and we are very glad we did this. For a group of 7 they were able to take all of us in one van, plus they knew exactly where to take us, which is always comforting when arriving in a foreign country. Nelly was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was always quick to respond to our questions, and checked in on us to ensure the driver met us and how we were doing during the week. This was my first time to book a VRBO stay, and if all the VRBO property managers/owners are as easy to work with as Nelly, I may never book a hotel again! Restaurant recommendation: We have to share this information for anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience, very romantic and scenic. El Palomar de los Gonzalez - it is located on a steep hillside with great views of the bay area and town. The food is outstanding, and the rustic setting is full of charm. Reservations are recommended, and a 30-40 minute cab ride. You won't be disappointed! Other great activities: We arranged for a private fishing excursion, and the men caught several species of fish, and then we had the fish prepared at Eddie's Place Mexican Restaurant near the harbor. Another amazing meal and wonderful views of the harbor. While the guys fished, the girls went to the Dolphin Adventure and swam with dolphins which was really fun. There are so many things to do, it's hard to choose from. We will definitely come again! Thanks Nelly for a great trip!

Great condo in an amazing location! Just an elevator ride down and a short walk to the pool and beach. Everything was perfect and it was very comfortable for 5 adults and 2 kids. About a 10 minute walk to the Oxxo convenient store and a 10 minute cab ride to the local Walmart. Thanks for an amazing beach vacation!

This property was even better than described. From the location, to the accommodations, the grounds and the security, it was a luxurious and relaxing weeklong experience. We stayed at the condo with a group of 10 (me and my husband, my father-in-law and grandmother-in-law, my brother- and sister-in-law and our 4 teenage children). We all fit comfortably in the four rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Nadia was attentive and kind, cleaning the house from top to bottom daily and refreshing toiletpaper, shampoo, soap and condition. Nelly answered all our questions before during and after the trip without delay - she was great! Truly one of the best experiences we have had with VRBO. The grounds were safe and security was constantly monitoring the premises. We did pay for the wrist bands and took advantage of the restaurants, pools and bars at the neighboring Grand Mayan. Make sure to request the access card which allows you to cross between the condo property and the resort through a turnstile gate. Also, consider bringing a key chain for the keys to the condo, which are actual keys. The pools were always clean and fresh, and the oceanfront was perfect for swimming and body boarding. We also saw sea turtles and enjoyed the proximity to the sea turtle preserve between the properties. We cooked meals at the property. No issue not having an oven, the stove was perfect and allowed us to make big breakfasts and lunches for our group. We also walked a few blocks into town and enjoyed seafood at a local restaurant Mariscos8. Oxxo is walking distance and Walmart is only a few miles away by taxi or uber. We will definitely return! From my sister-in-law: I truly enjoyed our stay at this location. I was wowed when we walked in and continued to be amazed by all that was offered and how well the property was maintained. In all honesty, there was not one negative experience I had. Not only was the interior well put together, the caring and attentive staff were beyond amazing. Our family vacation in this home was out of this world awesome. I’d highly recommend this place.

We brought the whole family to this gorgeous four bedroom palace for our daughter’s wedding. The condo is big and beautiful, well furnished, quiet and serene. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the ocean and crystal clear pool. We also got to witness a fierce lighting storm with everyone applauding the show. Nelly was very helpful and accommodating and the staff around the building took great care of us. We will definitely be back.

We really loved this place!! The ocean views are spectacular! The condo pool is very large and hardly had anyone there. The man who worked the pool was always quick to bring us towels, set up umbrellas and pillows for our lounge chairs. The beach and ocean are right there. There are boogie boards at the pool that you can take out. It was so nice to have our own quiet pool and beach area but still access the opulent Grand Mayan resort next door! Best of both worlds! Having access to the Grand Mayan was great! This condo is the closest “outside condo” to the Grand Mayan. The kiddie pool area, pyramid water slide and lazy river are all situated on the end closest to our condo, accessed either through a card-activated turnstyle or walking along the beach. (Bring a credit card when you pick up your bracelets at the Grand Mayan. They insisted we pay the $30 access fee via credit card, not cash.) The condo itself is very spacious and well furnished!! The balcony, while not huge, does have beautiful views of the beach and ocean and a nice hot tub too. All of the beds have built in trundle/drawers with foam mattresses too. We discovered this by accident but it was great because the beds are actually quite hard. We put the thin foam mattresses on top of our beds and it made them much more comfortable! As noted in another review, there is no oven in the kitchen. We knew that ahead of time but there is a toaster oven and it wasn’t an issue for us. The kitchen is a decent size but kind of a weird layout. (For example, the refrigerator is in the corner right next to the sink so 2 people can’t use the sink and open the fridge at the same time.) It wasn’t a big deal for us but if you plan to cook some big meals that may require an oven or have a large gathering of people, it might not be the kitchen for you. The Grand Mayan has lots of restaurant and bar options. There are good cheap taco trucks, close to the OXXO convenience store, which is about a 5 minute walk and has a good assortment of basic groceries, alcohol and some fresh vegetables too. A short taxi ride gets you to the huge grocery store Chedraui . The guys at the condo saw our taxi pull up and were fast to help us cart all our groceries up to our condo. Nelly, our condo contact person, was not onsite but was prompt, helpful, and readily available if needed. She’s fluent in English too. Overall, it was a great place and I highly recommend it!

Our family loved this condo. It is a great location with a wonderful ocean view from the balcony. Having access to the Vidanta Resort is a definite plus. It was very helpful to have the airport pickup and shopping stop. Marco at the condo was really helpful. Nelly was alway available to answer questions and respond to any problems that might arrive. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and we can’t wait to come back.

We had a fabulous week staying here. The view was to DIE for! We spent hours relaxing outside on the deck reading, eating, soaking in the hot tub and taking in the sunsets. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of space and privacy. We stopped at Costco to buy food as we planned on cooking most meals. I was quite surprised when I went to preheat the oven and discovered there wasn't one! There is only a toaster oven which is not practical to use to cook for 9 people. The dishwasher was also broken but a new one arrived the day we were leaving so that issue should be resolved while it didn't help us for the week. We paid for access to the Grand Mayan next door. Their children's play area was perfect for our 2 year old grandchild. We took advantage of the restaurants, entertainment, shops, workout facility and long walks on the property. The only downside was the access gate between the two properties is broken so instead of using a key card to access, you have to call the concierge to let you in and out through the gate. This was quite inconvenient. The pools and beach on the property are amazing. Very private and uncrowded. We spent most of our time there. The staff is very helpful moving loungers onto the beach and setting you up with cushions. The staff was also great about making sure only those who reside at the property used the pool and beach. Believe me, those who were staying next door at the Grand Mayan were quite jealous of the set up. Nadia, the housekeeper, was wonderful. She even cooked the fish that we caught. Her English is quite limited. We were luckily to have a daughter who is fluent in Spanish. The concierge is very helpful. He helped arrange a fishing excursion for us and was available to answer questions. Water can be purchased in large containers through the concierge for a few dollars and they will deliver it to the unit. The unit is great for small children. There was a pack-n-play for sleeping and a high chair. The one down side is there is only ONE key to the unit. For a large group this was quite inconvenient especially since not everyone had cell phone coverage. Overall, it is a fabulous rental and we would love to return.

Our family has turned to Nuevo Vallarta during the winter months to get away from the cold on an annual basis! So this year we stayed here and had a great experience! The condo is new, had a modern feel and very spacious! There were 6 adults and 4 children. The master bedroom that was overlooking the ocean was amazing! Plenty of space, large windows and you can hear the waves crash!!! The other room with the ocean view had a patio sliding door and with amazing views to! The bedroom with the northern view had plenty of natural light and was very spacious! The interior room suited us well as the kids stayed in there! The kitchen had room for a few people to prep food and worked out well. There was plenty of cooking equipment, dishes, etc.! If you plan to primarily eat at the condo, go to the grocery store located across the street from Paradise Village resort that is located on the other side of the marina. That is a short taxi ride which cost +/- $3.00 USD each way or take the free shuttle. The shuttle picks you up next to the OXXO that is down the street from the condo. If you are in a rush, the OXXO provides basic food and will get you by for a night or so. You need to bring all seasonings, salt, pepper, etc… There is daily housekeeping and Nadia is her name. She speaks very broken English however is a very nice lady!!! If you want her to do your laundry or towels within the condo, we left them next to the door by the kitchen table. When we came back, everything was folded and left on the kitchen table! Very nice amenity and next time we wouldn’t bring as much clothing!!! We gave her $20.00 USD “per adult” as a tip before we left and she was very thankful! There are 7 or 8 beach towels in the condo however we checked the towels out from the pool on a daily basis which made it very easy! We utilized the Gran Mayan facilities on a daily basis. Basically posted up at the beach or pool, ate lunch and appetizers there then came back to the condo for most dinners. If you plan to use the Grand Mayan facilities, go directly to the Santuario which is located in the middle of the resort. That is where you get the bracelets to have access for the resort. However there were lots of people not wearing bracelets so not sure if you need them!!! If you do get them, it was about $4-$5 each USD. You will need to bring the beach towels as the Grand Mayan doesn’t offer them to outside guests!

After staying here for 10 days and observing other accommodations, none really compared to ours. It is a perfect place for a big family. The condo was very spacious, quiet, and well-equipped. The three big rooms each have a large closet (big enough to put a crib in:)), hairdryer, soap, and body wash. It has filtered water that was topped up regularly. The washer/dryer is available only to the housekeeper, Nadia, so she comes every day to clean and do laundry, as required. She was often here from 10am to around 2pm. She made us a delicious Mexican lunch for a small fee, and she purchased the food for us. We also paid a small amount (around 300 pesos for 6 adults) to have access to the adjacent Grand Mayan Resort, which was a wonderful asset, especially for the children, ages 3, 1.5, and 4 months old. However, the condo's private pool area was well-maintained, gorgeous, and much less crowded, so we spent most of our time there and at the beach. The service in our complex was amazing. The condo attendants, Jose and Marco, concierge, and pool attendants were friendly and very accommodating. We rented some baby equipment from a company, but there was a highchair, playpen, and stroller in the closet, so I would recommend inquiring about their use. We found the surrounding area to be safe and fun to explore. The Grand Mayan has many restaurants; however, they were more expensive than the ones in town, which have great food and service. There is also a big outdoor kids play area in town about 5 minutes from the condo, with bouncy gyms, cars, and toys. It would have been helpful to receive an e-mail from Nelly, the owner, with some info about the condo (wifi password, etc.) and FAQs, since we did have to go back-and-forth with many questions before our arrival. Overall we had a lovely experience and would recommend this condo for rental.

We have a nice Family Vacation; the place is beautiful; people very friendly all over the condominiums. Despite it was Holidays the place was not crowded, quiet and the beach very private and secure. Great sunsets! Overall it is a great place to go; Highly recomended

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed, considering the whole experience. Nelly (the property manager) was great to work with. We had a lot of specific requests and questions to make sure the property was legitimate, and that it had access to the Grand Mayan. We were nervous since it was a new property with no reviews. Nelly was great at answering our question before hand and working through some kinks once we got there. We had a big group (4 adults and six kids) and the property fit us well. The views from the balcony and two master suites were amazing. It's well furnished and well decorated, and definitely has the feel of a luxury condo. The thing that really exceeded expectations was the pool and beach area. There were plenty of available loungers on the beach or the pool any time of day, and it was extremely uncrowded. At times it felt like we had the place to ourselves. It got a little busier on the weekend, but we never had to wait for a spot to open up. The only complaint in this area is that the property is only allocated 6 beach towels per day, so with 10 of us, we were short a few towels. The access to the Grand Mayan was very easy, but in my opinion the Grand Mayan is extremely overcrowded, and it was very difficult to get a beach chair or poolside chair there. Lines were long for the lazy river. We found the property in front of the condo to be much nicer and spent almost all of our time there. The Grand Mayan is a very nice property, and it was nice to have access to the restaurants, spa, etc., but as far as pool and beach, the condo is a much better option. We discovered on our last day that they have a segway delivery service for food from some of the restaurants, and wish we'd taken more advantage of that. Lastly, the housekeeper, Nadia, was outstanding. For a small fee, she cooked a couple meals for us, helped us with our laundry, got some groceries for us, and honestly became a really good friend. (side note, while the description says there is a washer and dryer, you don't have access to it, Nadia has to wash your clothes). Overall I'd strongly recommend staying here, it is an outstanding property.
