ABOUT CUYUTLÁN

Cuyutlan is a little seaside village located in the state of Colima right on the Pacific Ocean, about a 30 minute drive southeast of Manzanillo. Cuyutlan is home of Ola Verde, the "Green Wave" - great for surfing and boogie boarding. This quaint little town with cobblestone streets comes to life during Easter, Christmas, Fiesta of the Virgin Guadalupe and Spring break, it has more of a Mexican flavor than the tourist areas. The main street is a few blocks long with beaches that seem to stretch on forever.

It is a small and unassuming town and often times gets passed by, but it has miles of amazing sable sand beaches and swaying palm trees and unspoiled beauty.

If you are looking for privacy, Casa La Playa is the ideal location for family and friends get aways, honeymoons, special events and business meetings. Each of the 6 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. La Playa is pure relaxation, our staff will pamper you from start to finish.

Each impeccably clean room has a king size bed. The covered verandas are perfect for relaxing with a fresh margarita or cup of morning coffee. The staff will take care of all you needs. The main attraction here is El Tortugario, a sea turtle sanctuary. The sanctuary is involved in the study and protection of sea turtles which come to local beaches to lay their eggs. Dedicated people donate time and money for the preservation of sea turtles and other endangered marine life.
